XBLAXbox Live has just unveiled its newest program, one that will be providing the launch schedule of all Xbox Live Arcade titles on the Xbox 360 - Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays.

Aside from providing games' launch schedules, XBLA Wednesdays will also be bringing new retro content to Xbox 360 players. There'll be several old school games that will be made available on Xbox Live Arcade, including the popular game Frogger.

Frogger, a classic Konami arcade title, will kick off XBLA's new program. It can be downloaded starting today, July 12. Other retro titles which will be made available via XBLA Wednesdays in the coming weeks are Cloning Clyde (July 19), Galaga (July 26), Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting (August 2), and Pac-Man (August 9).

These retro games that have new and enhanced artwork will be making use of the Xbox 360's features. These classic games scheduled for release over the summer can be demoed for free on Xbox Live Marketplace.

We'll keep you posted for updates and the latest content on Xbox Live Arcade. Enjoy your XBLA Wednesdays.

» And I bet it sucks when it finally does come out.

The videos I saw of this software look chunky as crap. Aren't XBLA games java games? I really doubt they are going to pull this off. Wheres my retail SF for 360?
