Heads up: Xbox Live scheduled for service maintenance

Just a little heads up guys, Xbox Live will be offline starting Tuesday, June 16th from 12:01AM PST for its scheduled maintenance that may last up to 24 hours. Xbox Live and the My Xbox section of Xbox.com will not be available, while the Xbox forums will be read-only, so no posting until it's back online. Don't be too excited though, the new features aren't coming just yet.

This maintenance is to prepare for some of the E3-announced features for Xbox Live that'll come later this year. In short, when the service comes back online, you won't be getting Last.FM, Twitter or Facebook via Xbox Live just yet. I'm hoping for a Felicia Day video announcement for that one, but fat chance.
