Has Anyone Seen the NHL 07 Demo?

NHL 07

We're wondering the same thing as well. Electronic Art's official website has gotten the fans all riled up with this announcement that goes, "NHL 07 is right around the corner but why wait? The Xbox 360 playable demo is live on the 360 Marketplace now! Fire up your Xbox 360 and download the NHL 07 demo before it's available in stores."

However, the supposed demo was no where to be found in Xbox Live's Marketplace. Since this little fiasco happened a while back, and as well as to give EA the benefit of the doubt, we checked the Marketplace once more. Unfortunately, the demo is still a no show.

A rather disgruntled Major Nelson, after a similar incident with Prey wrote on his blog, "[G]etting a game through the certification process is very complex," Hryb said, "and often those promising the content by a certain date are not fully aware of all the pieces involved in bringing content to the Marketplace...and then when the content does not appear, well you know what happens."

So if you have managed to spot the NHL 07 demo anywhere in the Marketplace, please let us know of its whereabouts.

Oh i can't wait till this game comes out demo or the final, hopefully it offers players a new kinda experience other than just slightly touched up graphics, another thing is, i thought the xbox 360 was all about ease of development and getting things things out there smoothly, however when you hear Major Nelson saying "it is a very complex process in getting things out out on the marketplace" that is not a good thing, looks like they could put some attention there and come out with a more simpler and hopefully more effective process. I am not saying this to flame the 360, i think xbox 360 is a great machine and i enjoy alot of the games and xbox live, i will also be looking forward to the rest of theyear a consoles coming out later this also.

to post number 7 no they are definatley not the same. NHL 2k7 is made by 2k sports and NHL 07 is made by Electronic arts.

just because its easy in comparison to other platforms doesnt mean its not complex. did you think "easy" meant typing in what you want to do and clicking "go" and it spits out a Halo 3 disc?

Easier to develop has **NOTHING** to do with the content submission to XBOX LIVE.

Easier to develop on means that the development kids a literally easier to adapt and create games on the 360 environment.

Major Nelson is talking about getting content approved for Xbox live - which has to do with bug checking, making sure it performs correctly without crashing systems/ring of death systems, etc.

Apples and Oranges fellas.
