Harmonix donates US$ 2,000 to support fansite |
Ó
Dedication is always rewarded, and fansites are not excluded. Guitar Hero developer Harmonix expressed appreciation to a fan-made website by donating US$ 2,000. Scorehero.com is where competitive rocker-wannabes go to put their scores up and compare with other people. Pretty convenient, so it definitely deserved its cake.
Harmonix president Alex Rigopulos posted on the message board saying "Hey everyone, I just kicked in a big donation on behalf of the whole crew here at Harmonix. You guys are awesome!"
The money helped out to reach the site owner's goal of US$ 10,000 to improve the services in preparation of Guitar Hero III. He's now working on better services and expanding the Guitar Hero experience by pushing for the competitive side.
