Halo Wars Alpha concludes, more game info coming in GamePro June issue - Image 1Ensemble Studios has revealed that the Alpha test stage of Halo Wars has concluded, in a blog post updating all things related to the real-time strategy spin off of the first-person franchise.

A couple of moments reminiscing matches with other fellow Alpha testers was accompanied with a hint curtains will be lifted on the RTS on the next issue of GamePro magazine.

According to Thunder's blog post, the new info is likely to be extracted from a preview playthrough of Halo Wars, though it is not certain if it will be an identical copy to the latest Alpha build tested under a non-disclosure agreement. For sure, it will exhibit the same control scheme that players have gotten used to in the Alpha.

It has been noted that not only the multiplayer portion of Halo Wars has been tested. Open sessions of playtesting have been organized for the single-player campaign as well. It is not certain that the campaign portion will be included in the GamePro coverage.

Also, a new high resolution screenshot has been added to the developer's gallery for Halo Wars. This is due mostly to high demand from fans who noted that this particular screenshot was not officially posted on Ensemble's collection at the height of its proliferation (shown above).

Hopefully, this will tide gamers over until new updates are revealed in the future. And you can be sure to have them as soon as we catch wind of them.
