I used to agree with you somewhat and even though I did a full play through of the original xbox titles 1 and 2, I just never liked the sci fi aspect of the titles even though the gameplay was decent, just there was something that put me off and never really touch the mp. When Halo 3 came out I did enjoy the updated graphics but I quickly got bored and never even got through half the sp mode and played only a little mp. When ODST came I touched the game for only an hour of sp and that was it. Now as for Reach I don't know why my opinion has changed but I enjoyed the mp beta and when the full game dropped I've been playing the online mp on and off for the past couple days and I must say I'm really enjoying it and being able to get away from the COD series for a bit. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into the sp but I'm really enjoying the mp aspect and my opinion of the franchise is starting to shift and as always I can't really put my finger on what it is that has made me like/dislike the series besides the sci fi aspect and the weak energy weapons but Reach has surely gotten better somehow and the energy weapons seems a lil more powerful to me but theres something more that I can't really put my finger on. Sorry all for the wall of text hehe just thought I'd throw my opinion/experience with the franchise into the mix. Thanks and maybe someone else has similar thoughts.

the last time i checked unplugging your ethernet cord while the 360 is on gives you the second(i think) red ring of death which indicates a problem with the internet connection(agai n thats what i heard)
