Customized faceplates may be all the rage today with Xbox 360 owners - or at least that's what I can deduce given all these interesting faceplates being sold almost everywhere.We've already shown you some of the faceplates for the Xbox 360 we've come across - the Gears of War, Tomb Raider and even silver faceplates. (Let's not forget Nyko's customizable faceplates too.) After seeing all these, I assumed I've seen the most interesting ones, but I was wrong.
If you're a Halo fan, you'll understand what I'm saying. GameStop has advertised an Xbox 360 Halo faceplate - and I'm not being sarcastic at all when I say it's the most interesting one I've seen so far.
But like most good things, this one has a catch: it's going to be shipped NOT soon enough. The faceplates which will cost $20 each will be shipped starting October 24 of this year. Not soon enough, right?

who buys these things? Last time I checked customizing your xbox was not putting a peice of plastic on it but opening it up and painting it ans such. Just to make a few more bucks..geeze

It looks slick, it's just the crappy fact that from any other angle then head on you can see it doesn't match the rest of the console...
since when does blue not match white? and who has their console set up at an angle? I have the hot rod faceplate with my sytem verticle and out in the open but it still looks great IMHO. no use in complaining, just dont buy it. besides the console loogs good stock.
