Halo: Combat Evolved on the Marketplace?

In the April issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, a rumor stating that Halo: Combat Evolved will appear on the XBL Marketplace surfaced. Considering how the Nintendo Revolution and Playstation 3 are both going to be offering classic games online, it would make sense for Microsoft to jump on the bandwagon.

On the other hand, with April Fool's Day just around the corner, it could be a major hoax. The download would probably be around 4 to 5GB, which would suck up a great deal of the 360's hard drive space too. The rumor says that we can expect to see it online sometime before this summer, so we'll just need to keep our eyes peeled until then.

well if it is true maybe they could add a few tweaks so that it could support xbox live. one thing the halo series could do with is online co-op and since that seems to be the fashion with a few 360 games maybe we will get it with this.

» Wrong dude

HALO is not 4 to 5GB's , HALO is only 2GB's , HALO 2 is 4GB's

But why waste 2GB's of HDD space when you can buy it at the store for cheap?

i dont see it saying free anywhere, u have to pay for every bleedin thing on the market place and such, take the winter warrior pack for kameo... its just a few skins but it had to be bought, if thats not bad enough just simple gamer pictures have to be bought which is just stupid, it will probly cost like 1000 ms points, maybe if they do this they can make it run on 360 Properly, im talking proper 720p, not the way it actually runs which seems to be a 480p picture stretched to fit in 720, and maybe higher res textures, that would be nice, ah who am i kidding, u cant even play it using the vga cable... as if theyed bother making it better...PAH!
