Multiplayer mode looks to be testing already as Frankie from Bungie.net tells us in Bungie's Weekly Update.

Lars, one of the new(er) multiplayer designers, has a regular multiplayer test in session now - that happens every day - and with surprisingly polished-looking graphics, although I'm told a lot of the textures and decorator objects are just placeholders at the moment. Could have fooled me.

The multiplayer test lab is still packed full of old-school 4:3 480i NTSC TV sets, which tells you two things. One is that we're making sure this game looks awesome on non HD sets, and two, that there is always a crazy rush to get to the sets that are HD during those sessions.

It would be pretty bad if multiplayer wasn't being worked on already, but since they've been working on this "secret" project for over a year now (which turned out to be guess what? Halo 3) multiplayer seems to be alive and kicking. Hopefully we will get some screenshots or movies in the upcoming months because I've been waiting to see this game in action and what the 360 will bring to Halo. This is great news for those waiting to see if Halo 3 is actually coming together as it's supposed to be coming out in 2007.

We'll be sure to keep you informed as more news about Halo 3 becomes available.

Actually I meant what I said. I want to see what the power of the 360 can do for Halo, we've seen what an awesome job Bungie has done with the Xbox 1 kits and I want to see what they can accomplish with the 360 kits =D

That word meant nothing to me when Halo 2 came out and will continue to mean nothing once Halo 3 gets here. Got some pretty Fs on my transcript thanks to good ol Master Chief. Not that I'm complaining :)

But i hope the test the hell out of Halo 3 Multiplayer!

As for Halo 2 has to be the glitchiest online game i have seen, but then again i cant complain as many people play this game...

I just hope bungie tackly the glitches a better way this time around :). (And hopefully no more xbox 360 hackers!)

The one thing that makes halo 2 suck is the kids. Lets make so if kids play this game there parents get a fine.

well we've been updating the site a lot so it just might be a few days so just keep trying or try a different browser such as firefox, but on to Halo 2.

Online play was great for Halo 2 until all the hacking and standbying started and everything else that plagues great online games like that, such as counter strike on pc with all the wall hacks in the world. Bungie has tried to fix a lot of the glitches and I tip my hat for them for trying, but just like the psp people try to break through.

To #11 I hear ya on that one other than being stuck on the blue screen of death for more than two minutes or having a auto aiming battle rifle with rocket bullets shot at you some of the little racist kids just ruin the whole experience, but if it ever got SO bad just mute them and problem solved :)

Your right Josh, but by the time I decide to mute someone I am already angry. Bungie's current system with Halo 2 sets up matches through match making based on level and connection speed. Now with 360's feed back system in place and gamerzones will I still be subject to constant "MF's" and the classic "your mother". Modders will mod thats that, but there should be no place for racism.

» I modd in custom game

i used to mod in match making utill the banhammer came out and i realised that its a real big pisser offer. so i stoped using matchmaking mods and started making fun mods for every one on my friends list to enjoy!!! (add CRAZZY SHOTTY if you want to fun mod)
