Halo 3 site emerges - welcome to Server 05 |

Not too long after Halo 3's ancient gimmick, the guys over at Bungie Studios are rolling up their sleeves again to try their hand at another viral marketing attempt. We've found a site called Server 05, and it's got Halo plastered all over the place.
Of course, we're being kept in the dark as much as possible. Only through paying attention can someone find anything out of that strange, spinning object. We've found a few secrets, including a video about the ancients' disappearance, but let's not spoil any further. Here's a teaser though, a file says:
KNOW THAT ENERGETIC AND TENACIOUS AS LIFE IS
IT HAS AN ANTITHESIS JUST AS POWERFUL
IT IS THAT THING THAT WE MUST OBLITERATE
Props to people who can make anything out of that.
Given that Halo 3 is expected to drive sales and finally give Microsoft some profit, we'll most likely see more of these in the future. Keep watching this space; we'll keep you posted.

The ancients encountered the flood, and they tried tons of ways to destroy them, but it all failed. this is their last message to warn other civilizations about the flood, because the flood destroyed the ancients.

this is one that only can be done on the 360 due to the graphics advantage the 360 has!! once this game comes out, the ps3 will be no more!!
Never post any news articles regarding to Halo 3 from now on, period. I f+cking care nothing about garbage like Crapalo 3 or Halo 2.5 or Halo 2 Episode 1. This is a flat fact that there’re 200 games or so which are better than Halo 3 in terms of graphics, sound, music, gameplay, multiplay, single-play, and replay value (longevity).
* World of StarCraft (WoS – MMORPG genre): go to google.com -> click ‘images’ button to do image searching -> type ‘World of StarCraft’ -> you can see 2 exclusive pictures. Back in early 2006, Blizzard gave an exclusive interview about WoS and these 2 in-game pictures of WoS to GameSpot. About 1 week later, Blizzard requested GameSpot to remove all information on WoS because WoS was in very early and immature stages.
* Call of Duty 5: Infinity Ward makes CoD 2 and 4; Infinity Ward has been making CoD 4 since Dec. 2005. Treyarch makes CoD 3 and 5; Treyarch has been making CoD 5 since Jan. 2007. CoD 2, 3, 4, and 5 games’ publisher is Activision (Activision decided which version will be made by which developer).
* Jak & Dexter Next-Gen: Naughty Dog is currently making Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Jak & Dexter at the same time.

See, this? There’s almost countless number of games which are better than Halo 3 in all respects. Why should I waste even 5 minutes to play Crapalo 3 when there’re 200 better games? I've been playing Halo since the start, I'm pretty sure I know what I want when I've played the story line over and over again trying to make assumptions of how the game is going to end.
I'm mostly hooked from the Discreet character development and I am enjoying ARG Iris.
So I mean, I am going to look into Unreal Tournament III, Time Shift, BioShock, StarCraft 2, and The Darkness but other then that I'm not too interested in anything on that list.
Some things on that list is for other consoles or the PC and has nothing to do with X360.qj.net
If there is news, why not post it?
World of Star Craft was an April fools joke. -_-;;
StarCraft Ghost was halted to a stand still, i've seen the in game Beta, it seems pretty damn slow. (Just like a strange FPS that seems like ShadowRun just a bit slower... much slower...)
So I mean, you spent too long coming up with a list and a reason behind not liking Halo3.

If you click the symbols on the floating thingy... You get 2 text documents and 2 pics. THEY SAY HALO AND FLOOD RIGHT IN THEM!!!!!!! the picture says "flood control" right in it and one of the texts says halo and the process of fireing the halo rings by the ancients. READ PEOPLE!!!!
Has anyone on here found all the circle icons in halo or halo 2 I found a few in halo and they match up too the new websites icons you click on.But rly go do it now they hide them as lights and etc.They where there the whole time!

That is pretty funny he included Halo3 in his list of games better then Halo3, shame you can't go back and edit posts xcer. :)
You know what I'm an Ex 360 fanboy, meaning I used to love the 360 but since it broke and I had to fix it myself or pay M$ $200AUD to repair it.
I couldn't care less about the 360, however I still can't get over how stupid some PS3 fanboys are as to post a list of games they want on a news article about Halo3, just do what the sublmininal message on the viral marketting website says. Which according to Penny Arcade is "Buy T3H H4L0Z" :)
Nah I reckon that's a message from the forerunners, in the end of the Ghosts of Onyx novels they were on a shield planet, which has a portal on it, once inside puts them inside like a small on the outside massive on the inside type world designed for when the rings are activated to survive. The gist I got from the book was that the forerunners never made it to their shield world, 4? Spartans and Dr Halsley are in there at the end of the book so they may survive if the rings get activated.

After following the ancient gimmick link and going to the website said in the vidoe, i noticed something... interesting. actually, "Society of the Ancients" refers to server 05.... Here is the paragraph that it refers to it in.

FINDINGS- The message boards are still out on this piece. One of our members came across a website that also contains this symbol (206.16.223.65) but it’s much to early to determine if this is valid evidence of Ancients. None the less, the supposed "alien" server is quite interesting. The quest for the truth about this image remains.
