Halo 3 Release Date Leaked by Best Buy?

Halo 3The popular media outlet Best Buy has listed Halo 3 for being released on November 16, 2006 on the Xbox 360 on their website. Coincidentally, that happens to be right before Black Friday, but more importantly it's also just one day before the North American release of PlayStation 3. For those of you who don't recall, Bill Gates is quoted for saying he's "radiant with bloodlust" and that "It's perfect. The day Sony launches, and they walk right into Halo 3." However, Best Buy has listed Halo 3 for being released on 11/16/2005 and 5/15/2006 in the past so we can't hold their word to heart, but this would be great timing on Microsoft's part if they hope to thwart the PS3 launch. If we see the listing go down or the released date changed to 'TBA' we'll surely know it isn't official, but for now we can at least hope that Halo 3 will see the light of day sometime in 2006.

game shops like this will not have the inside scoop i promise you. what they will have done is take a guess as to when it will come out so that they can say something to there customers and get them to preorder it. expect it to still come out in 2007 at the earliest.

if you go to play.com they have grand theft auto 4 coming out on 19 oct 2007 on 360, but as a ps3 launch, but on ROCKSTARS OWN SITE it says both will get it in oct 2007
