Halo 3: ODST - Image 1Are you still thinking about whether or not to get the multiplayer disc for Halo 3: ODST? If you are, then you're sure missing a lot. Bungie calls it no other than the "complete" version of the game.

Said a Bungie rep at GamesCom, "It's all the multiplayer maps we released with Halo 3, then all of the DLC we've released since then, along with three new maps." That's a lot of bonus and plus, plus, plus! That also means that you can save further on your HD space. "It's like putting in Halo 3 into your Xbox, except it doesn't have the campaign."

Are you sold yet?

Someone please explain what this "multiplayer disc" is? I assumed this would have come with the standard edition of the game. I looked up on gamestop.com but there is no mention of a multiplayer disc in either the standard or premium editions...

The complete multiplayer experience disc comes with either standard or premium edition. It is listed under expanded info. Plus there is a pic from the back of the premium edition that shows what it has. I think they had to put it on a different disc because of the achievements. ODST has its own 1000 pts.

» Hey

How about we don't buy this game, and call it a day?

So why did this article lead me to believe that it was a separate or enhanced purchase? If it comes with the game period then what's the point of asking "Are you still thinking about whether or not to get the multiplayer disc for Halo 3: ODST?"

That's what I was thinking, this article is short and weird and misleading. "Surely it must be worth it" sounds like sarcasm but the rest of the article sounds sincere so maybe not. Who's responsible for this?

They have the multiplayer disc because they cannot fit all the maps as well as the odst campaign onto one dvd.

All the Halo 3 map downloads total around 1.4 gig. You can guarantee that ODST will be using a full DVD (considering H3 did). So to be able to give people all the halo maps as well, they need another disc.
