Discs with extra content and a Master Chief helmet! - Image 1

In keeping up with our promise, we have been keeping an eye out for new developments to Halo 3 for the XBox 360. And what a treat this update is! From an ActiveWin.com/ActiveXBox.com exclusive, we are introduced to some early box shots of three (yes, three!) versions of the the flagship franchise of the Xbox 360. The Legendary Edition, which particularly catches our eye, not only ships with the game discs, it includes bonus discs for additional Halo-related content - and what's this? It's a replica of a Spartan Mjolnir Mark IV helmet!

The two other editions are the Regular and the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition includes only the additional content discs. The Legendary, Limited and Regular editions are tagged at US$ 99.99, US$ 69.99 and US$ 59.99 respectively. We guess the extra 30 bucks should be worth the discs and the helmet. We wonder if they would include the rest of the Master Chief's suit...

Now we know that Bungie promised that Halo 3 will be so much better, and we're thinking of all the cool possible improvements just to while away the days until the eventual release date, which is marked at November 2007. But Bungie was kind enough to divulge the major highlights of the newest installment so that we all don't have to lurk around in the dark.
  • A whole new story claimed to be the "most engrossing and compelling" in the trilogy;
  • A new advanced lighting engine;
  • High-definition visuals;
  • Enhanced A.I.;
  • New weapons, characters and gameplay challenges (now who isn't up for that?)
We'll keep you posted on newer developments.

Also, the game hasn't been "marked for November 2007"

The ONLY date given for the release is the year 2007.

Man alive, and your ending is brilliant, "We'll keep you posted on NEWER developments" ------ For the love of God, please do!!!!!

» Really kinda small

If your head is approx. cat-sized, then it is wearable.
