Yea, Halo 3 dosn't look as good as gears....ITS IN ITS ALPHA STAGE. It's not even close to hitting store shelves yet. Besides...Halo 3 isn't supposed look extremely real. Graphics don't make the game anyways. I give this video about 4 hours before it's pulled with the rest of them

As for GoW I actually think it looks quite horrible, it's blurred half the time... =/, and this also looks horrible because of thecamera/youtube lol. Should be interesting, Halo III.
Don't know what all the hoopla is about the Halo series. The first one sucked, so did the second one, and no doubt, the third one will also.... I guess console gamers are less demanding than PC games. Quite sad... :*(

this vid is blurred and plus its not even near the actual thing. You *****tards are stupid for judging ***** before its even remotely done or complete. GoW online sucks nuts and its campaign was even worse. How can you compare a game that has major lag online and campaign hardly has a decent plot and has only come out with one game and compare it to a group that has made millions off of halo, halo 2, Halo for the computer, and is in the making of Halo wars and Halo 3. Ill be glad to get this game so i can use the A-hole button specifically for you *****weeds that say halo sucks but will get it anyways.

Agreed, Nuff sed. Also, I saved the video for my friend's future reference on what I ment by "Place Holders" and how much different it will look from Alpha and Beta. I perferably enjoyed the Halo 2 beta, IMO had a better feel than the Final.
Gears is a totally different game where its mostly close quarter battles. Environments are rendered way differently than in Halo. I would judge this video simply by how short it was, and how I didn't MUCH care about the reloading animations, I want to see some death animations or melee animations. Maybe how the spikker rifle looked. Once I beat Gears, I moved onto Lost Planet. They both look amazing. I don't think that Halo 3 will fall short of the lack of luster. I will be buying it more of the story line/single player.

Is a completely different experience than Halo 2. Plus due to the nature of the game you can exactly make friends. Not always the case with halo2 as 1/2 the time ur playing with a bunch of lil kids. Im not generalising...just saying.
And what's the problem? "Little kids" (what exactly do you mean? Under nine? Or like 13-14?) are still people, is there some law against being friends with them? I'm 16 and have met some cool "little kids" on XBL, one of them is like 12. In fact, in my experience with Halo 2 and XBL in general, the older people (16-21) are far worse than lil kids, because they actually know what they're saying and take full advantage of that. The next time I hear some douchebag 17 year-old say something about a "*****" (which he will never see), I will punch a baby. Though I would have to agree if by lil kids you mean anybody under nine or so, they are just generally annoying.

Shooters were born on PC and play best on PC... Most of the time. Halo was built from the ground up for the Xbox. It was originally coming for Mac, then PC, and then Xbox but because of design changes it was rebuilt as a FPS and because of this it works perfectly with the controller. I lover my PC and I always play cross-platform titles on it but you PC guys need to stop being so ignorant. Not everyone plays console games because they don't know any better. It's fine if you don't like Halo but don't pretend like your opinions are facts. Halo is a game, some people like it but obviously you do not. Get over it.
Neither one "takes more skill". The skill required is based on your opponents skill so therefor they are even. CS has been out alot longer so there are more "pros" making it appear harder but the game mechanics are just as easy to learn and the way you PC guy complain about not being able to aim with a game pad leads me to believe that you guys would get wasted playing Halo against us. If game pads make it harder to aim then doesn't that mean they take more skill? I personally play both, you can look me up on CS Source as "yougotslayed" and Xbox at the same name. Just have fun and stop dogging people for having a different opinion than you. Also get a life and stop coming to our section if you don't like our games.

LOL CS on mult !!!! i,oh I remember that game when I had my own server, I spent more time banning the cheats which it was infested with more than I played the game and by that I mean was lucky to get 10 mins play before I would have to stop before another cheat would come in and I would have to amx_ban 0 insert id here.
in CE you have just about as much skill as wipping your arsh. You just grab the magnum and become a pusssy and 3 shot anyone you see from across the map. Now that takes so much *****in skill. Halo 2 was much alot more fun except for the pusses who think that using BXB and BXR is skill. Other than that Halo 2>x2 Halo CE. Combat Devolved.
