If you weren't able to get yourself the Heroic Map Pack for Halo 3, you may be glad you waited after this news. Bungie will be offering the map pack for free starting on March 25. The original map pack was released last December for 800 MS points (US$ 10).
Now you might be thinking: "I'm broke so I can't get the Legendary Map Pack when it comes out this April either. I'll just sit on my hands (and my wallet) until they release it for free too." Tough luck folks, Bungie currently has no plans on doing that.
More map pack news: the third Halo 3 downloadable map pack, the Moonlight Sonata, will be unveiled next Tuesday, so watch out for that.
