Tired of the old Halo 3 maps? Well, you might want to take a look at these new maps Bungie Studios has been working on. The three new maps called Foundry, Rat's Nest, and Standoff offer new battlegrounds for players who enjoy close quarter battles, large scale vehicle fights, and everything in between.

The Foundry is said to be every map builder's dream. It's a large map which can be modified in every way using the Halo 3 map-making option called the Forge. This looks to be perfect for those players who want a different experience every time they head online.

Rat's Nest is an indoor map with various vehicles. However, more experienced players will notice that games in the area will focus on getting up-close and personal with the opponents. If you hate games which tend to revolve around getting the high-ground and evading sniper fire, you might want to check this out.

Fancy yourself as the next Erwin Rommel? Well get ready to prove it in Standoff. This map has vehicles and some entrenched bases for players to crack. It should prove to be an ideal setting for players who want a more tactical game without losing any of the action you might expect from a Halo 3 game.

We're pretty sure that you didn't come here for us to describe the different maps. Here are the videos you've been itching to see. Enjoy!

» Woot

to Bungie... those maps are pretty sick. Very different so far.

And now "woot" has officially been coined into US dictionary!
