they might actually hit the mark my friend!!! i mean they got $125mil for Halo2 and i don't remember how much a game costs back then but i know it was cheaper and the gaming industry in getting more hype and attention right now especially with the brewing console wars, the entire industry is doing considerably better... everybody here knows i'm a PS3 fan and admittedly i don't like Microsoft, Xbox, and Halo but i want Halo3 to hit that mark cause as a gamer this will bring bragging rights to the industry, people would see that these products are more than just "games" but an enterprise on its own and that the gaming industry has power at par with all the rest. sadly no matter how well it does i would never appreciate it cause FPS is my least liked genre (although i do play it even winning a couple of counterstrike tourneys back in the day).

The Halo games seem kind of quirky to me. Sure they have tons of fans but the quality and entertainment value suck. There are plenty of other shooters out there that are a lot more fun. Another thing is the story blows. The genre rips off other games ideas before it and to me, if I had a 360, I would not buy this game. I do have the original XBOX and have played Halo on rental and my friend has Halo 2, so I played that one too but I don't think they are worth buying. Sure they are good for a rental but they get old real fast.

It has one of the best storylines in any game. Its gameplay is kinda basic but it still fun 4 player online co-op, Kick a$$ online play Large online community, with machinima and all. Huge player/fan base And its gonna be hella fun making your own game modes and messing around with the game engine. Tell me one PS3 game that has all these elements. To CHUCKINGROCKSATSPACESHIPS, play Halo 2 online with friends playing tremors, zombies, and the the game modes made made by the community and tell me its not fun. Halo 2 single player was fun but to short, online was fun because theres so many possibilities and ways to play it.

Halo 3 will EASILY hit $155 million. If you can't see that you're blind. It will probably exceed that, maybe by a lot. As has already been mentioned, Halo 2 hit $125 million during it's first day. The hype and advertising for Halo 3 are much greater than for Halo 2, and it's sales will easily exceed Halo 2's. Combine that with the fact that the game is at least $10 more than the regular edition of Halo 2 and up to $80 more than the regular edition, and you've got at least $155 million.

Im not biased i have played both the 360, PS3, and Wii. Hell i own an Xbox360, Wii, PSP, and am planning on buying a ps3 if its survives this year and MGS4 doesnt suck. I have played much Resistance and Halo1,2,and 3. Resistance ithought was better then halo 1 and 2, at first, once i had played it for 50 or so hours online and beat the multiplayer, i was bored. Halo 2 yeah the 1 player blew balls but the multiplayer kicked enought ass that it didnt matter i still play it on my 360 from time to time. Buy the the way never play tournements there not fun just to dam hard. One thing that bugged me on resistance was the online unlockable if you beat the game on the hardest setting you became harder to kill which made the online game a lot harder, and cheap at times.
