Halo 3 Beta's end right around the corner |

It's been a rough ride, Halo 3's Beta testing made people cry tears of anguish and joy. Many screamed for better graphics, some whined for their missing Beta keys; it's finally coming to an end, after plenty of glitches found and secrets uncovered. All things come to an end, good or bad, and it's almost time to say goodbye.
Frank O' Connor gave his bittersweet words, "A sad and gentle reminder that the Halo 3 Public Beta is coming to an end this weekend... it will come to a close at Midnight, PST on Sunday the 10th of June." Time to say farewell to those you fragged, and give love to people who kept on killing you.
On the good side, the Beta did good for the game's progress. From 'ol Frankie:
The Beta has been a great success for us in terms of the sheer amount of data it allowed us to gather, for matchmaking, networking, general bug-bashing and of course some gameplay elements. As the Beta heads to the great software graveyard in the sky, it's vital to remember that things you got used to during these short few weeks, are almost certain to change.

My 360 broke like 3 days before the beta came out and it still hasn't come back yet, I never even got to play it!!! NNNOOOO!!!!!!!!

I'm not a fanboy, but Halo 3 beta was the only game I could play. I'd try to play others but Halo 3 kept calling me. I'll miss it dearly over these next few months. :(

Don't worry. The Beta was horrible. Halo 1 had better graphics....
Ehh.. i played the Beta for like a week.. and that was it.. like halo and halo 2 it got boring really quick.. though in the final game with everything avalible. it may last a little longer.. but now im addicted to Shadowrun and Forza2.

Hey, i just wanted to let you know there a surprise if you don't quit the beta. When the beta was closed and your still in the beta, it turns into a custome game menue. And you can do some pretty cool stuff. Like set the gravity to zero, and have the normal speed increased by %300! Its crazy when your running so fast and jumping like superman. You get to also try out the different game modes like juggernaugt , ninja capture the flag, and others. You can also get to drive the bunshee and the tank. There's a bunch of other cool stuff I'm checking out right now. If you have a gamer tag, send me a message. My gamer tag is Code Silver 360. I'll send some of the videos I saved or I can send you an invite to the games.
I'll try record everything on a video camera and upload it online. If maybe QJ will let me send them the videos and they can upload them for download.
i just added you and i can't get into the beta.. just says the beta is over and i can't get on to the menu.. i tried getting off the internet to see if that would let me on by no! so what are you talking about?
You were suppose to just stay at the beta menue screen where you choose the type of matchmaking you want. After the beta ends it says your uploading from Xbox Live. When it finishes, it turns into a custom game screen. There you can change anything from cool things like gravity, running speed, weapons (you can have swords), vechicles (you can now ride the Tank and the Banshee which is the plane), and the usual stuff like time limit and other stuff. You can also play the different game modes like juggernaut, Ninja capture the flag, VIP, etc. Look at my profile and it says I'm playing a custom game right?
You could do this weeks ago buddy, it's all over the net. I played 20 custom games like over a week ago
everyone that says that halo 3 beta is garbage are complete and utter philistines. there was one person that said that halo 1's graphics are better than betas are you a complete retard of course they arn't what do you think 5 years of space has come up with an exact replica of halo 1. and besides even if it did Microsoft said that it wasn't the completed version and so the graphics wouldn't be great, i find it insulting that some sony-tard can even think to say that because he/ she is jealous of the magnitude of this game and just because halo 3 and GTA 5 isn't coming out on ps3, doesn't mean that you can go around annoying real fans of all the halo series by saying that the most awaited game of this autumn is arse. its just not right.

The beta was okay, I only played it a couple of times, didn't really entertain me too much, though I still do have Legendary pre-ordered, I mean, it's halo for gods sake.
Over 100 before beta ended, and then 120 more after beta ended.
