Thus far pretty much every screenshot we've seen of Half Life 2 for the Xbox 360 has been running on a PC, which is why the aspect ratio has been 4:3 (non-widescreen). However, we've managed to snag some of the first screens that appear to be from the 360 version. We can't give you 100% confirmation, but we're pretty darn sure. Whatever the case, it doesn't make them any less pretty, feast your eyes folks!

» Too bad

Sucks because Xbox360 will not be able to play on any PC servers.

Looks good, but then again the source engine isnt too demanding as it was when HL2 was first released.

Id say comparable to the PC in terms of graphics. But the limitation on this game is the controller.

You wont be seeing many CPL leagues for the Xbox360 version of HL2. maybe CAL.

there are plenty console gamers man. I think it would suck if it COULD play on pc servers...keyboard mouse vs. controller?

Who wins? No one. Its preference...and if you think differently you are a jack ass. It takes skill in BOTH. not just one.

» Cool

It's cool to see screenshot of the 360 version (if they are). And like Vietone said "Looks good, but then again the source engine isnt too demanding".

chaos, maybe you don't know but Half-Life 2 for the PS3 and 360 will come with HL2, Ep 1, Ep 2, and Portal.

» Wrong Jaydog

HL2 for the X360 and PS3

Will be Episode 2, teamfortress 2 and Portal.

It will not include the Original HL2 or Episode 1. Those will most likly be separate or not even released to consoles at all.

HL2, EP1, EP2, TF2, Portal will not fit on a DVD9.

HL2 and EP1 alone take a DVD9 of "compressed" data.

Expecting all that on the Xbox360. Thats funny.

Also as a matter of "fact" KB/M players will always win against controller players of equal skill.

» hm

Pretty sure it was EP1, EP2, Portal and TF2

#7 According to game spot it will include hl2 and hl2 episode 1 on top of the above.

Maybe it will be released as a 2 dvd boxset...

Quote from gamespot:

>>This package deal contains Half Life 2, and HL2: Episodes 1 & 2, as well as their extras such as Team Fortress 2 and Portal.

BARCELONA--Currently scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2007, Half-Life 2: Episode Two (working title) for the Xbox 360 is a compilation of five games that, believe it or not, will retail for the price of one. The five games in question, in the same order that they appear on the single disc's game select screen, are Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. We met with Valve earlier today, and although we weren't permitted to get our hands on a controller on this occasion, we did get to take a look at both Half-Life 2 and Portal in action.

You are SO wrong in PS3 case....

PS3 is BluRay so it will fit 25GB or 50GB BrD..

as for 360 i'm not sure maby there will be some cuts in quality: sound, music, maby taxtures...

» Stupid retarded fanboy

I got Half Life 2 Game Of The Year Edition a few months back and it had 1 DVD9 and had all of this:

Steam

HalfLife 2

HalfLife 2: Deathmatch

HalfLife 2: Lost Coast

Counterstrike: Source

HalfLife: Source

HalfLife: Deathmatch

The only thing i had to download was some updates, and the developers tools (Which were optional).

So stop being a retarded fanboy and talking absolute crap to make the PS3 look better than it is.
