Guitar Hero III demo out for Xbox 360 - but not in Marketplace |

A demo disc for the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is out - only, you'll have to download and burn it for yourself. The demo was posted in the Xbox Live The Guide forums; why it wasn't just made available in the Xbox Marketplace wasn't really explained, but why complain?There are five songs in the demo. The first three are from Pat Benatar (Hit Me With Your Best Shot), Priestess (Lay Down), and Pearl Jam (Even Flow). Their gameplay videos can be found in one of our earlier posts. The fourth, by Tenacious D (The Metal) also has a multiplayer gameplay video released earlier. The last is from the Scorpions (Rock You Like a Hurricane).
The demo was probably ripped from the demo featured in the Entertainment for All Expo. The instructions and the links for the demo can be found at the Xbox Live The Guide forum thread by following the read link below. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock from Red Octane and Activision will be released on October 28 for the PS2, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii.
