Guitar Hero II auction "Rock, Paint, Bid" begins today |

You might have forgotten about this already but there's actually an auction happening on eBay for custom Guitar Hero II controllers. Take note that this isn't just an ordinary auction as it is part of RedOctane's and Activision's aim to help organization MusiCares. All proceeds of the "Rock, Paint, Bid" auction will be used to provide financial, medical, and other forms of critical assistance to struggling musicians.
A lot of celebrities from the music, film, art, and sports world did pledge support and promised to share their talents to ensure the auction's success. Some of them include musicians Nickelback, Dashboard Confessional, and My Chemical Romance. Other known figures are Jack Black, Tony Hawk, and designer Missy Broome.
Activision Worldwide Executive of Music Tim Riley commented,
We are proud to be working with such an amazing list of artists and sports figures in support of such an important foundation. We hope our event is extremely successful and will make a real difference in the lives of people who need it the most.
