off to NeversoftLook who's come to join Tony Hawk's Project 8 aboard Neversoft's lineup! It's Guitar Hero! That surely is surprising. After all, we never really heard anything about Harmonix dropping the franchise.

Hmmm...if you'll look closely at that screencap we've got here, it says "Positions Available". No, we doubt if that's for a rock band (although it does say 'Click to audition for the band), or the positions available for you to play your guitar on.

GameDaily says that Neversoft is actually setting its eyes on a proper sequel for Guitar Hero III. So, put two and two together, and you'll get that they're actually opening hiring for that project.

As for Harmonix? We have yet to hear any word as to why the sudden leap - or shall we say drop? Anyhow, just keep it posted here. We'll be sure to keep you updated.

I always have this feeling that a good thing can only last so long. I keep having this fear that eventually, I'm going to end up seeing P-diddy (or is it piddy, diddy?) tunes on a sequel for this game. Mtv does have a knack for ruining a good thing or regurgitating ditzy junk. Oh well, I do love the game none the less.
