Announced to be coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 is 505 Games' sequel to the Guilty Gear franchise, Guilty Gear 2: Overture. Being developed by Arc System Works, this new iteration in the popular series, originally unveiled back in TGS 2007, promises to bring you a sweet blend of action and real time strategy.
New features for this title include the introduction of 3D graphics to the series, as well as the ability to take control of you chosen character, with players taking charge of legions of loyal followers. Destroy your opponents' strongholds, aka the 'Masterghosts', as well as defend your own from your enemy's attack.
Gameplay features also include the choice between a single player campaign or four-way multiplayer mode, as well as a two-player local multipalyer mode.
Do join once again the familiar cast of Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and the mysterious That Man as they come out for the Xbox 360 on September 4th, 2009. In the meantime, check out these screenshots we have for you.
