GoWHow would you like to have your doze of Gears of War? Casual or hardcore mode? Do you want a three-part series? Or do you want more than a trilogy? If you prefer the last one, well, you're in luck. Epic Games VP Mark Rein just confirmed that the newly released title could have sequels as long as their players desire it.

On the official forums of GoW, the celebrated official wrote, "Gears is a trilogy? If we can keep making quality games that fans obviously love then why would we have to stop at three? There's definitely, as many of you have pointed out, a lot more to learn about what's really happening on the plant Sera and in the lives of the members of Delta Squad."

It has been noted in the past that Rein is quite honest when giving assessments and statements regarding gaming matters. If that still remains true, this forum post is then as good as a promise. Finally, he assured everyone by posting this, "In the mean time we're working hard to support Gears of War and come up with some great enhancements you'll hopefully see before too long. We're not ready to provide any details yet but I assure you we're on the job."

And as the Buzz Lightyear used to say, "To infinity and beyond!"
