GOW: Don't go berserk to a Berserker

While the other two thirds of the gaming world is still crazy about the launch of their respective consoles, let's talk Gears of War for a little bit here, shall we? When you think about it, we really don't have to ask because we know anything related or even remotely connected to Epic Games' tactical third person shooter is always welcome.

Anyway, this may not sound new to some but allow us to use this moment to give a little reminder for the few out there who don't. In the game, players fight off the Locust Horde wherein the Berserkers are part of. These creatures are naturally blind so they use vibration and scent to detect their enemies. Given this situation, it is needless to say that precision and slow movement takes precedence over speed. Then why in the world would someone do this? Oh well, another case of "how not to."

That wasn't the first Berserker fight. I'm actually not that far so I can't say for sure what the tactic of that battle may be. (I'm playing through hardcore with a buddy.) Just got done with Act 3.

What, I can't see what happens when you shoot it? They never said the thing was blind. Also I read you have to get it to bust down some walls to get outside. I'm sure you got it the first time though...

They did say it's blind. In the first level.

And yes, I beat both the first try. It's not even hard, none of the bosses in this game are hard (which is one of this game's few flaws).

Sorry to interrupt your 40 hour streak of videogames, ballscakjoe, but you're full of s*it. I've been working at my JOB during that time. If it makes you feel better to talk s*it about somebody who casually plays games who's just making a comment you've got issues. It's ok if you have a lifetime addiction to videogames and no life outside of them, but is that something you want everybody to know?
