Not about to rest on their laurels, Ensemble Studios adds another halo to their Halo franchise as Halo Wars adds another accolade to an already-long list after having reached one million copies of the game. Solid!
Not only did it break the one million mark, it's also become the best-selling Real-Time Strategy title now. The game was released only last February 26. Three weeks later and with numbers like this, that's really an accomplishment!
Other cool stats for the game:
- There have been more than 2.6 million multiplayer matches played
- More than 118 years of time has been spent in multiplayer matches on Xbox LIVE
- On average, more than 200,000 “Halo Wars” fans have taken up arms in battles between the UNSC and Covenant each day

This game is very simple, and I can see why most hardcore RTSers don't seem to like it, but I loved this game. Just got the 100% Achievement for doing everything, never got tired of it. The rushing in multiplayer is not cool tho
Hope it sells a million more, great game for the last released under Ensemble. Looking forward to whatever the new team is making, hopefully some Halo Wars DLC
after halo 3 i don't think there are goin 2 be any remixes of the game of telling the story from a different perspective *sigh* bungie plz make another game just like Halo
There is still the unnamed Peter Jackson movie/game hybrid project, and once Bungie split MS formed a dedicated Halo team. They obviously didn't form the team for no reason, so expect more Halo

According to the rumor mill atm, there's more halo games in the works. Halo 4. So don't be surprised or shocked it this one get's announced. ;)
