Not about to rest on their laurels, Ensemble Studios adds another halo to their Halo franchise as Halo Wars adds another accolade to an already-long list after having reached one million copies of the game. Solid!
Not only did it break the one million mark, it's also become the best-selling Real-Time Strategy title now. The game was released only last February 26. Three weeks later and with numbers like this, that's really an accomplishment!
Other cool stats for the game:
- There have been more than 2.6 million multiplayer matches played
- More than 118 years of time has been spent in multiplayer matches on Xbox LIVE
- On average, more than 200,000 “Halo Wars” fans have taken up arms in battles between the UNSC and Covenant each day

Hope it sells a million more, great game for the last released under Ensemble. Looking forward to whatever the new team is making, hopefully some Halo Wars DLC
