Gears of War still undisputed at number one

Gears of War (GoW) stays on top of the heap as the undisputed number one Xbox360 title. This is really no surprise as this title has literally taken over worldwide as VG Charts report sales of 3.81 million copies.

GoW takes a lofty lead from Call of Duty 2 in second (1.96 copies) and Tom Clancy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter in third (1.85 copies). The rest of the list include Madden NFL 07, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Call of Duty 3, Fight Night Round 3, Perfect Dark Zero, Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Vegas, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, Dead Rising, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and Saints Row. So far, nothing's shaping up enough to dethrone GoW anytime soon.

Is it possible to overthrow Gears of War? And if a new title is going take the throne away, which do you think most likely will?

Then there is no doubt your a PS fan.

PS fan or not, you should realise that Gears is the best game out there, i can't see anything over taking it, accept a second Gears.

Or maybe Halo 3.

You don't realise how much hype there is about that game, and whether or not it will be better then Gears, it will sell more, because, it's, well... HALO!!!

Some people think the game sucks, but get into a room with some friends, play afew ranked games and it's the most fun you'll ever have.

P.s, You need to know how to play the game.

And another thing to add, if you do not like GeOW, IMO your a huge fanboy of another console, or your just a tard, simple as.

By the way, carefull, by the time your GREAT games (Rainbow six Vegas and Oblivion) arrive on your console......... we might be already getting their sequels.........

I'm not a PS3 fanboy you retards.... I own a 360! But Gears of War happens to be one of the worst games on the console. The graphics blow, the gameplay is predictable and repedative, and it is too similar to gay games like Halo. When are we going to get a real next-gen game for this damn system.

OMG...Gears of war looks so much better than Resistence. Thats why PS3 guys are mad. They thought cause they paid double the money they would get double the console...WRONG!!!! hahaha..so funny. They got jacked! Gameplay for GOW is very original. No one could validly argue that its the same old *****. "Close combat tactics" is completeley new. Unlike they're beloved "Resistance".

Gears has something new to it and thats what I love. Resistance looks like another halo knockoff. But this is a launch game so we should see better (Hopefully) And IMO PDZ's graphics were better than resistance's. Maybe im alone on this one but so F**K

The game is super!!! but The dubbing in mexican spanish is terrible, I dont like the voices, Perfect dark zero is better, much better, and Crackdown is better too.

I own this game and i agree. it's terrible. I want my money back. It took me about 5 minutes to realize the game's graphics aren't good, it's just shiny. Where's the detail. The only time the graphics impressed me was the last lvl on the train. other than that it's bland and repetative.

Ppl who play this game religiously are products of hype and that's it. This game hardly feels next-gen.
