Finally, we've got a little more information on the upcoming Gears of War movie. Thanks to producer Wyck Godfrey, we now know that the story will focus on the Emergence Day and the survival of the people for the next 48 hours. Sounds compelling.
Godfrey further reveals that they wanted to delve on the storyline of how the world was doing quite fine and dandy on its own until Emergence Day happens. And then the action begins. "Cloverfield"-ish, as he would have it. If that's the case, then expect a lot of handheld camera action, and be sure to take a lot of anti-dizzy pills for you.
