Xbox 360's Gears of War is arguably the most anticipated game this year. It's enjoying immense popularity among gamers and as a testament to its fame, around 12 GoW Faceplates have been on sale on eBay with prices ranging from $31 to $162.50.

The eBay auctions are for "still-sealed", "mint-condition" Gears of War faceplates (top photo) that came straight from the concluded E3 2006. Apparently, Microsoft was giving these to the members of the media during the GoW presentation and according to most auctioneers, this one has a very limited number; rumor has it that only 500 of these babies were made and distributed. So if you are a big faceplate aficionado and you happen to love GoW, then why don't you bid for one of these.
