Gears of War 2 voice actor hints at release date

Lester Speight, the voice talent behind Gears of War 2's Cole Train,  was at a recent U.S. convention answering questions when he let slip a potential release date for Epic Games' upcoming video game.

Speight was asked when Gears of War 2 will be available in retail stores. He simply replied that he was not at liberty to answer these questions although the reporters should direct the same question to him again on November 16. Could this be the launch date of the game?

Well, considering that both Microsoft and Epic confirmed at the last GDC that Gears of War 2 would be arriving in November, it wouldn't be surprising if the date Speight gave was actually the launch date of the game. Still, we're going to have to wait for an official statement to confirm this, perhaps more will be revealed at the coming E3. Till then keep checking back here for more.

MS and Epic said novemeber, which is good enough for me.....I really don't care when in Nov, it's only a month....
