NOT Fable 2 - Image 1It's not just Fable 2. Lionhead Studios... erm... head, Peter Molyneux, hinted at a non-Fable game in development supposedly for showcasing at this year's E3. He didn't say anything specific about it, but he did say  that the company should - and is - not only focusing on Fable 2.

Definitely not. In fact, we've been working on, working incredibly hard, on something else. We haven't been allowed to talk about that something else because the rule is we have to have something to show, to prove it. Those days of high media concept are gone now quite rightfully so.

Actually, it wasn't an outright confirmation (nor was it an outright denial) as to whether or not it will be ready for showing by E3. He did say something about the event, though:

It's fascinating how E3 has turned itself around. It was a show that was on its last legs and now suddenly everyone is going 'Hey, it's going to be a big E3'. I think this year E3 is going to be pretty big on announcements from everybody. It's just a perfect time in the industry. We're kind of building ourselves up and saving our energy for these big announcements. Walking out there talking to those develoeprs, it's 'Wow, this E3 is going to be exciting."

Got any guesses as to what this non-Fable title is? No? Hmm.. me too. We'll be keeping you posted on any announcements, teasers, leaks or whatnots, so keep it locked here.

» Sweet

I liked Fable 1 more but every game this guy makes has something special about it, a charm that no other game ever has. Can't wait to see what else he's working on
