Gears of War 2: All Fronts - Image 1

What could be going on? For some reason, all pre-orders of Epic Games' Gears of War 2 retail compilation "All Fronts" have vanished into thin online air. A Joystiq tipster came forward with the information that GameStop had pulled out the said pre-orders.

Searching the Intarwebs, it was discovered that other online retailers have also pulled out the item. It is truly a mystery, but if anyone can crack the code for us, please do. We're still waiting for word from GameStop, so we'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

Found out info from another website and it turns out the All Fronts Collection is no longer going to be sold at retail.

» poor excuse...

why don't they say "we wanted to copy halo" thats basically what all this is. halo went from having a add-on disc to DLC strictly...cause gamestop will pay you like 10 bucks for the disc when it comes outthen charge 15 or something...then someone else will get it so-on and so forth...or several guys will chip in like 5 bucks a piece, thats 4 gamers....costing Epic/M$ 60 bucks they will NOT get. Nice try to fool us, I don't buy it. GOW2 sucks anyway, I only liked the story, I used to be a diehard GOW fan til 2 came out.

» Bernk!!!!

It was not gonna be on a disc dude. They were gonna have codes in the package for you. Jus tlike they did with the Flashback when Gears 2 originally came out. I don't think they were gonna have a disc in the package for you to read into your HDD, no way, no how.

They're not that stupid.
