Yeah-huh! And we all have Blaze97 to thank for being so generous in sharing these videos with us. The vids may not be long enough to actually induce and trigger drooling, but hey, we'll make do with whatever we have until that frikkin' beta opening is announced, right? So, without further ado, here are the leaked videos of the Halo 3 beta. (By the way, I think it's worth noting that in the second footage, the person recording the vid was busted and the vid got cut immediately. Hahaha.) Enjoy!

beta or not, it still looks a lot like halo 2 to me. then again, super-low-res videos have a tendency to distort ones perception.

I would perfer Gameplay over Graphics, they said they are going with an art stlye of halo 1, rather than jsut pure graphics,someti mes art styles make it look better.This isnt the Wii so its not gonna be ps2 graphics with motion control. But im expected the Gameplay to be amazing and graphics to be good for next gen standards.

gameplay is important, so are graphics too. why to buy a game that is going to look the same. i think is going to look better than this video but GOW set a new standard in graphics and bungie had been working longer than EPIC in this game. i expect better. i think if the can reach the level of graphics as project offset, they' ll be unbeatable. if not another game will take the torch. PROJECT OFFSET, maybe.

what i dont get is why everyone keeps writing off the wii as a ps2 with motion sensor. first of all...the gamecube is more powerfull the the goddanm ps2. and the wii is at least 3 times what the gamecube was. honestly. red steel is no gears of war. but it sure beats anything i ever remember seeing on the gamecube, or the ps2. and it is only a launch title. I think the wii has more to it than people are giving it credit for.

Ok guys the demo don't come out till mid spring bungie only have the alpha pre build and beta to sign up to the beta go on halo3.com etc... also the graphics are not asthey will be in the actuale gameplay in the full version. To those who may think that Halo3 will look amazing consider this.
When a game is in beta stages, just about all graphics polishing is done. This is the stage where the game is played to find bugs, crashes, etc. The point of a Beta is to make it more stable.
So expect that the Halo3 Multiplayer Beta will look like its final retail build. Why? Because changing everything to make it look better changes how a game will perform. Beta games are also used to make portions of the game that seem to slow down more efficient and therefore run at the baseline.
If the Beta comes out and the graphics are a slight upgrade from Halo2, don't be surprised that the same will happen with the retail. EGM reviewed the game, and now the Iraq videos, it all seems to point that not much effort has been put into polishing the graphics but wrapping up the game.

Dude, have you even researched the specs?
Wii is basically a gamecube with motion sensing controller. And yes the gamecube is more powerfull than the ps2, 185MHz faster processor and 8mb more ram...... Don't fool yourself into believing the wii will ever bring Impressive graphics. The graphics will be "ok" in some games at its best, not to metion lower AI and phyisics because processor limitation. And no, aiming or whacking things around with a controler is not enough to be revolutionary.
I dont know about you but I dont remember Halo 2 having textures and lighting like that, I dont see how people are *****ing about the graphics when you are watching someone who recorded a tv and then had it hosted and all you can really tell is that there is an assault rifle!
