Free Your Avatar - Image 1Microsoft has just launched a new NXE service that'll make your New Xbox Experience even better. You can now design wallpapers, screensavers, and festive cards featuring none other than your avatar. Now you can take your digitized self and make its presence more felt all over the place. You can also pose with your friends' avatars and make a nice avatar wallpaper of your gang.

The feature, "Free Your Avatar" is a web-based service which allows players to use their created avatars on background templates and personalized texts. The service saves them as .jpg files, so you can easily put you Xbox avatar on your Instant Messenger and social network sites. Cool.

Free Your Avatar "will include a host of screensavers, wallpapers and festive cards to use as backgrounds, giving people the opportunity to get creative and have fun with the avatars," said a Microsoft press release.

Cool feature. No you can use your Xbox avatar with all your online pictures, making it your universal avatar. Smart move, Microsoft.

Picture quality isn't ok. Maximum is 760x450 and looks very blurry! Use it as wallpaper?! Yes, on a mobile...

You can't turne around your av. You can only drag it somewhere on the picture.

Here my one...
