To those who've yet to secure a copy of the video game The Darkness (PS3 and 360), this is your chance to try it without shelling out a single penny. A free demo of the title has just gone live over at Xbox Live Marketplace. Before downloading, be sure that you have some space because it's approximately around 1.27GB in size. Quite unfortunately, the said demo will not be available in Asia and Germany. It should be remembered that The Darkness was recently banned in Singapore.
Likewise, it was reported that the German version of the title will have a lot of cuts that will, needless to say, definitely affect the overall gameplay experience. Despite these issues, The Darkness continues to do good in the market, recently topping the Most Wanted charts of GameFly for the third time.
The title was co-developed by 2K Games and Starbreeze Studios.
