All this time and yet they under-delivered on what they promised the tracks would look like. The car models are nice and very detailed but the track itself doesn't justify having great cars. This game will be a big disappointment if its not improved.

I see, so you've played the game have you? The tracks look VERY detailed to me, and don't really on photos overlayed onto simply polygons to 'fake' the environment. This may be good enough for you, but I expect more in a next-gen game, and Forza 2 appears to deliver this. "This game will be a big disappointment if its not improved." Yet again you show yourself to be an ***** gamer who put graphics ahead of gameplay. Forza PLAYED superbly on the XBox, and I expect the same will be true for Forza 2.

ok i agree with both of you. The gameplay well definitely be solid and will be fun. The gfx on the other hand look almost identical to pgr3 to me... so i jsut would like a slight improvement which is notiveable in this game visually but nevertheless it will be a great game. and no im not a fanboy but it hink gt5 will beat this game aslthough it should if it doesnt theres a problem considering its comign out a year or so later

I’m Japanese and live in Japan; however, game addicts are classified as 3rd raters in any countries; it’s just same in Japan or in the states. Ok, kids. What kind of stupid human beings spend (waste) time for reading game related thingies when you waste even more hours every single day to play games? Playing games is not enough for you? So you have to waste hours and hours every day to read game related articles, watch game related movies and see game related pictures? Game addicts are very pathetic sort of people I can imagine. They are pitiful guys in real lives. The gaming addicts occupy the lowest ranks in any society. Let’s take an example of Counter-strike. Game addicts played the game so much, now they become very good at it. When they play the game online, they can get a lot of kills when they only relatively die much less. Their kill–death ratio is very good; better than other people; therefore, the game addicts feel satisfied and get self-esteem because they are better and cooler than other people in that virtual world. On the other hand, game addicts are regarded as 3rd rated, lifeless, worthless, useless, stupid, and trash like kinds in real lives with garbage like educational achievement. Game addicts created their own virtual reality and try very hard every day to maintain their imaginative gaming world. For your easy understanding guys, I have a very simple and concise example. When you were high schoolers, you had seen a lot of nerds and non-fashionable classmates. I’m talking about those students who study very hard and spend a lot of time for studying, working and planning for their future. You, game addicted kids called them idiots or nerds. Now, years later from then, those hard working and diligent students attend universities when game addicts get worthless lives. A few more years later from this moment, they will work as lawyers, doctors, officers, et cetera when you will work as cleaners, store clerks, janitors and bus drivers. Game addicts will clean up those hard working people’s office later as janitors; and this is the real life; get out of your virtual gaming world. Your life is worth about $10 per hour; I actually have nothing more to say. Those respectable and hard working people who become lawyer and doctors earn about $200 - $600 per hour. Even the youngest and entry level lawyers earn $300 per hour. If you work as store clerks, for example, you will earn about $8 per hour if you just started working. You will get about $15 per hour about 8 years later when you have a lot of work experience. I bet you feel very happy about your life because now you can earn $15 per hour instead of $8. If you are so bone-headed, I can talk about just so many other aspects of reality. I don’t have to talk about the amount of money (dollars) you earn. I can talk about, let’s say, the quality of lives? I’m sure that lawyer’s life quality is incomparably much more superior, better, safer, securer, cleaner, more respectable, and so on than the life quality of game addicts.

Wow you are such an idiot. Everything in a game is a photo/texture overlayed onto a polygon model. Those cars your looking at are a wireframe model with textures overlayed on top of them. ON PC games its very obvious and proven because you can run games in wireframe mode and turn off the textures overlaping them. You prove yourself to be very stupid by not knowing that every model in a game is overlayed in textures. Then those textures have various layers on top of them to change the way textures react like bump mapping. Forza was a mix in simulation and arcade racing. It was far from being realistic as GT and, yes both games physics can be compared. GTHD has incredible physics for being a game redesigned from GT4, I expect them to exceed the realism of GTHD in Forza 2, if not, then just like the first, it will be focused on the popular cars and not on the real driving experience.

Stop pretending the Grand-Canyon was a polygon environment in GT4. GT-HD uses similar 'tricks', and I would expect we'll see less of this in GT5. EVERYONE knows he's a Sony fanboy, and a fool and (like most fanboys)... spineless. Recently, he was posting in all the Oblivion topics saying how much superior the PS3 version will be. Last week, he came to dumb conclusions about the PS3 version and Cell after reading an article on IGN, and made claims that they didn't even say!!! But later, when Peter Hines from Bethesda said the improvements was ALL due to extra time and that the PS3 is doing nothing that couldn't be done on the 360 and PC, Vietone is suddenly nowhere to be found. I see this all the time with Vietone and other fanboys. They have big mouths and talk sh@t all the time, but when there is absolute proof that they are incorrect, they run stay away because they lack the courage to admit they were wrong. :| Hence his comments here about Forza being a mixture between simulation and arcade racer is typical of this fanboy, and his presense here only shows his insecurity (again, like all fanboys).

any one thats actauly played both gt and forza can easily tell the difference between how the cars handle (which is what makes a good game for me) in gt the cars just understeer no matter what car your driving forza cars handle differently depending on how you drive them thats why forza beats gt
