Forza 2

We earlier reported about the statements of Dan Greenawalt - Forza Motorsport 2's director - and his prediction that it will be miles better than Gran Turismo 4. That interview was accompanied by the game's teaser video. Although there hasn't been much info divulged about this adrenalin-pumping project from Microsoft, I guess they are making up for it by releasing some pics and a video. This time, feel free to see customization pics and trailer of a Nissan 350Z, the Japanese company's coveted sports car.

I have once wished to the Lord above that I'll be able to own, handle and drive a sports car. I've outgrown that, but seeing this customization trailer flashbacked all those hopes. The car already looked great with the metallic orange finish, but seeing it being customized just made me think of the thought that I loved how the customized parts came from the floor. It got even better when the car transformed from one color to another -- from orange-ish, to elegant green, to mysterious blue, to savvy purple...I just love it. So out of self-respect, I'm going to stop pining over the car, and focus on the game.

Go ahead and get the Forza Motorsport 2 Customization Trailer and see for yourself. Either you'll be pining for the game or the car but let's just hope that this caliber of graphics would also be seen in the game and not just on its trailers.

In case you didnt know, GT4 was a ps2 game, not a next gen game, therefore it probably will look better than it (and also have many more options than it because of processing power). Gran turismo 4 was held back by the ps2, polyphony digital pushed it to it's limits and did a great job. Before you make assumptions on what game will be better, please, look at the facts.

1. GT4 owned Forza Motorsport on XBOX

2. Polyphony Digital has many years of experience creating the 'most realistic driving simulators' ever.

3. GT4 has 721 cars (top that forza) and over 51 real life tracks, and many other fantasy tracks.

The only thing the Origonal Forza had that topped GT4 was damage modeling, and online play, and that isnt saying a lot. From the Pre-Rendered bs, I would be very surprised to see this game comitting to everything they say that they're going to do.

» Really

I don't think the RB26 belongs in the Fairlady Z (RB26DETT is in the BNR34 Skyline).
