Flaming red Xbox 360 controller to hit European retail |

In addition to the very sleek red Xbox 360 Elite bundled with Resident Evil 5 (PS3, Xbox 360), Microsoft's also shipping the red controller into stores all across Europe. The controller will come with its Play & Charge Kit, which contains the charging cable and a matching red rechargeable battery.
The red controller will be available in stores in Europe on March 13th, 2009, which, on a side note, is Friday the 13th, the same day that the RE5 bundle hits stores. The controller will be priced at £39.99.
So for the ones who won't be able to get the red Xbox 360, you guys still have a shot at getting the red controller. But this one's limited edition too, so you're gonna have to be quick about it.

This came out in November in Australia, I just assumed it came out everywhere. They've all pretty well sold out here though.

It was to coincide with the launch of Gears2 I was initially told. They were quick to point out that it's not a Gears2 themed controller though it just coincides with the game's launch.
