Flaming Fable 2 concept art, Batman! A castle?

From Lionhead Studios' dev team, Sam just posted some interesting (not to mention mouth-watering) concept art on their official Fable 2 forums. It's making quite a stir among the fans, and although I'm not much of a fan myself, I can't help but feel excited for the upcoming game. Check out the pic below.

Fable 2 concept art - Image 1First and foremost, before you start saying or thinking anything, we ask that you click on the pic to enlarge it. It doesn't look as impressive if you're just looking at a thumbnail.

Now. Have you burned the image into your mind's eye yet? Great. Here's something even more to tickle the flames of your fired-up thoughts. Sam included three points about the pic for everyone to ponder:
  1. This is a castle
  2. "Own all the world's property"
  3. Located in a city
The first is pretty much obvious, but coupled with the third point, it gives the concept art a sense of so much more grandeur and awesomeness. The second one though... It's as vague as it can get. Now I haven't played Fable before (I've always been stuck to Black & White), and I'm thinking, maybe the second point is an allusion to something in the game. Anyone want to take a stab at it?

For what it's worth, Bruce Wayne's manor-estate looked as cool as this one does. After seeing this pic, Batman doesn't know the meaning of goth.

i think this means that you can buy "ANYTHING" in the game... so maybe a player can purchase this fine estate...

yup, one of the big new developments that pete moneloux has been flonting in the idea that any building in the game can be purchased if you've got the cash. This screen and that comment are to get you thinking about the potential of owning any building in the game, especially if they can be as grand as the concept.

I throw my vote in for "you can buy this castle"...

it was a small option in fable, they no doubt expanded on it...buying 10 million gold castles and villages that grow into cities....this could be worse then oblivion.....worse as in a huge addictive time eater...

I really can not wait for this game...

If its anything like the original then you can probably buy it.

Fable 1 was wicked fun for doing things like buying real estate.

Step 1: Butcher entire village.

Step 2: Buy all houses available.

Step 3: Retire from being a hero as you rent the property to new villagers who move back into your town.
