What's worse than being surrounded with slow-moving hordes of shuffling, flesh-eating zombies? Being surrounded with fast-moving hordes of sprinting, flesh-eating zombies, that's what. And we romp through that worst-case scenario in five deliciously-bloody videos of Valve's Left 4 Dead (Xbox 360, PC) in action.

Featuring some of the most intense gunfights in the worst possible environments (a claustrophobic hallway, an underground parking lot, an unlit subterranean railway track, a HOLE IN THE GROUND), Left 4 Dead looks like it's the zombie shooter to kill for, with a cast of convincing, personality-filled player characters and terrifyingly fast-moving zombies.
