Since the latest edition of the Japanese magazine Famitsu it was clear that Square-Enix is teasing with their new Xbox 360 game called Project Sylph. It's a bit of an arcade shooter, but more with a Japanese theme - something the 360 needs in that region.
The game is set in the far future after humanity tries to maintain Earth with colonies on other planets. A rebel group tries to separate them from Earth's regime and attacks our planet. You play one of the defensive soldiers, so you'll experience some epic battles while you do your task. Your spacecraft will be armed with a load of weapons, with more becoming available during the course of the game. It's unknown at the moment when the game will be released in any part of the world.
