First DLC pack for New Vegas will be Xbox 360-exclusive

Tomorrow, October 19th, Fallout: New Vegas will officially be available to the public. As you might expect, Bethesda will be providing downloadable content for the game shortly after. The thing is, the first DLC pack will be available only for those who'll play the Xbox 360 version.

"We're excited to continue the partnership between Bethesda and Microsoft, and build on the success of the game add-ons released for Fallout 3 on Xbox LIVE," said the VP of marketing and PR at Bethesda Softworks, Pete Hines. "Fans will once again be able to continue their experience in the Fallout universe with the add-on packs planned for after the launch of the game."

Bethesda hasn't revealed any details about this exclusive DLC pack, if it will only be a timed-exclusive, or when it's going to be released.

A lot of these publishers/developers have been making other console owners suffer lately just to show "partnership". Haven't MS and Bethesda been in a partnership for a while? I think it's a bit unfair in my opinion, even though I own an Xbox 360. It seems a bit suspicious to me that lately XBL has gotten a good amount DLC early like with MW2.

Ha hate to own a shty ps3 hopefuly they will bring out the dlc after 6 mabye 8 months hopefuly......I'm so glad I didn't get a ps3 and don't hav to wait knowing all xbox owners are having a good time playin mw2 map packs and getin dlc 3 months before I get it...lol
