Details regarding Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI: Wings of the Goddess (also available on the Xbox 360 and PS2) nation quests have finally been revealed. These quests aren't in the game yet but will be coming this September's update which we previously reported on.

Final Fantasy XI - Image 1 First up, we have San d'Oria where the Tavnazia-bound Excenmille decides to disband the Young Griffons in the interest of their safety.

The squad rebels against this decision and the remaining members embark on a mission to prove themselves. One that will have them uncovering an Orcish plot.

Final Fantasy XI - Image 1Second on the list is Bastok. The republic is slowly being torn apart as Galkan discontent against the Hume government and their military troops continue to escalate.

At the heart of the problem is a sworn brother of the Mythril Musketeers. The question is, will the city be able to hold out? That may all depend on you.

Final Fantasy XI - Image 1Finally we have Windurst. Following the victory over the Yagudo Theomilitary at Fort Karugo-Narugo, the Windurstian Forces have yet to recover their full strength when the Mithran Mercenaries decided to engage.

Cobra Command takes charge and turns the city's last bastion of defense into a bloody battlefield.

The three scenarios should provide perfect setting for all kinds of adventurers. It looks like this upcoming update is the biggest one yet, so it may be something to look out for when it hits in September.

playing this game cuz I finally was able to get the larger HDD for reasonable price. It's crazy in depth. Lots and lots to do in this world. Pretty nice people mostly too. Reading the old forums, it would seem that is a change. Really liking FFxi tho... Wouldn't be anywhere had I not known someone already involved deeply in game.
