Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess missions now live |

Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess (Xbox 360, PC) expansion is now finally picking up, and missions exclusive to the expansion have finally started. Adventurers in Vana'diel may notice strange statues popping up around their vicinity - these are known as the cavernous maws, statues that somehow serve as portals.Adventurers who dare go through the portal will enter Cait Sith (who may or may not be the same Cait Sith controlled by Reeve), who informs them of a certain "tidal wave of tragedy" that will soon fall upon Vana'diel. If players accept the mission, they will be tasked to deal with some of the events in the Crystal War.
Colorful characters (aside from the already strange Cait Sith) will be encountered as adventurers try to fulfill the goddess Altana's will, such as the Troupe Mayakov, Sir Ragelise, and the mysterious dancer Lilisette.
Those who wish to delve more into the mystery in Wings of the Goddess should better jump into the game. More details as they come.
