Final Fantasy XI New Year in-game event: Rodents of Fortune - Image 1 


Vana'diel residents, heads up! Square Enix and PlayOnline is currently running a New Year in-game event for Final Fantasy XI for both the  Xbox 360 and MMORPG platforms. It began last December 31 and will end on January 14 at midnight.

Anyway, the event is called the "Rodents of Fortune" and involves the mysterious rodent-like beastman race that recently began to appear all around Vana'diel. Notes regarding the event reads:


A certain mercenary of Far Eastern origins ponders, "There is a custom in my country where the rodent servants of the Deity of Fortune are lavished with gifts. Are these creatures truly divine disciples or merely unsavory swindlers seeking to deceive unwary adventurers?"


Divine disciples or unsavory swindlers? The only way to know for sure is to investigate these rodents firsthand. Good fortune in your adventures, and may your New Year be filled with happiness!


Like we said, the rodent beastmen can be found almost everywhere in Vana'diel so we don't see any reason why you guys wouldn't want find out the truth behind them. Happy ratman hunting!
