I love the Fight Night series. I'm glad they're getting rid of the ridiculous parrying system. (Or was I dreaming they did...I'm sure I saw it somewhere...)

» heh...

i have something to say about Fight night round 3...

I cant say i didnt enjoy the game in fact i loved it BUT...

there were flaws that sometime made the game a bit unplayable and ill name a few hoping that they fixed in FN R.4

-philly shell AKA to people in my house call the Halo shield

-punches that land on the target but no damage is done...meaning hands are down guarding their body then i throw a analog punch and a little sweat comes off

-PUNCHES THAT GO THROUGH BLOCKS!...like when ur rival sneaks u at the weigh in you block hi the replay shows the punch going through the hands

-Unrealistic aging defecit...I start losing stats at 30? George foreman proved that age means nothing and damn me for stealing the quote but..."George foreman shocked the world with one punch"

-clothing benefits...thats a big EA flaw with all their "stat" games I wear the flamed cutom pants gives me 20% strength and the gold and blue ones gives me 20% strength...your outfit becomes the same everytime you go around the series...

-INSANE PRICES...Yeah my boxing shorts 720,000 gloves 720,000 mouth guard 320,000 i mean really that ***** dont cost that much...

-Training period...ok so when ur young its EASIER to train but the fights in the first 2 belts gives you 7 or 8 points from 6 weeks to fight night and the fights way down the campaign gives you 2 for a 16 weeks?

-Better training regimine...NO BOXER ON THIS PLANET does ONE exercise in 12 weeks...Ready to rumble 2 had a outstanding training regimine (sp)

-better nicknames...how about 3 boxes to pick a name from...RAW 2 for xbox lets you pick 4 different words with a million combinations to come out to the ring with...for example...The Unholy punch or The bone cracker or Back snapper...or EVEN NORMAL NAMES...John Doe,Mark Arnold,Ed sullivan...so when the ring annoucer says ur name you get the feeling YOUR IN THE GAME!!! not...And now coming to the ring..*pause*.. SLUGGER!!!

-better announcers...I mean i liked the annoucer but after a while he gets kind of repeditive..also he sometimes says things wrong...your fighting a guy named cobra and your crusher (those kickass names?) so lets say he jabs me 3 times i get a combo consisting of 2 hooks to the body and an uppercut up top then the enemy is weak and just before he gets dazed Oh he better watch out one more good punch and hes going to go this could be dangerous for Crusher...wait why am I in trouble??

-Damage control...When your sitting on the bench have more options...A-bruises..B-water(to stop bleeding from the mouth..X-Towel (to clean off the blood around the mouth and nose) Y-cuts(be able to fix the cuts above and below both eyes...also what else falls under the category of damages is lumps in the demo the lumps looked vicious but in the final release the damage looked to be dumbed down ALOT

I think you guys get the idea im trying to point out here...Graphically speaking one of the most eye popping games ive seen during the 1st couple yrs of the next gens releases... I rate the game a 7 out of 10 just because of the minor flaws in the game although the game is fun Lets hope FN R.4 fixes SOME of those issues this time around
