Is this the future of soccer video gaming? According to EA Sports: Yes!
FIFA Soccer 07 on Xbox 360 will have a new and dynamic engine that's supposed to blow other soccer games out of the water. The engine has spent two years in development to ensure that it will redefine the way sports videogames play and feel. It's a physics and data-driven technology wonder that'll allow individual player movement, authentic athletic motion, and never-before-heard-of responsiveness.
According to Andrew Wilson, Producer of FIFA Soccer 07, it's supposed to be one of the most sophisticated engine EA has ever produced so far. The engine grants each player on the field a "soccer brain." It's a level of intelligence that'll be seen in this game first. Players will now have brand-new traits and twice the attributes making every player unique. As for favorite players, they will have the moves they do in real life. Biomechanics of each athlete has been uploaded and replicated in the game. Although we're not sure if they have head butting move there as well.
As for the ball, it'll have it's own physics updated as well. This will make sure that any pass or shot is different and possible depending on who or how the players treat the ball.
Online playing is available, so you can kick ass all over the globe. Up-to-the-minute game results via-real time-videos, podcasts, and news ticker. Like a little ESPN studio in your Xbox 360, eh? Expect FIFA Soccer 07 on the Xbox 360 Fall 2006 in North America and Europe.
