Final Fantasy XI gets new info from Fan Festival 2007 - Image 1Final Fantasy 11 fans who attended Fan Festival 2007 were treated to a lot of new info and a glimpse at Final Fantasy 11: Wings of the Goddess. That being said though, those of you who weren't able to be at the event will be glad to know that the folks at PlayOnline have compiled a list of quick tidbits related to the future of FF11.

In addition to some new artwork, PlayOnline noted that in the Wings of the Goddess expansion, headhunting will allow players to recruit characters who will join in their nation's campaign.

They also noted some great stuff for upcoming version updates for the game. Specifically, they mentioned that new reward items will be added to the Adventurer Recruitment Campaign, so that headhunters can get the full benefit of their time investment. It was also mentioned that signboards would be introduced for each of the crafts, with these signboards containing bonuses to the craft. The signboards will also reduce the chances of items breaking during synthesis.

Lastly, PlayOnline mentioned one interesting tidbit that they're looking into. It's the development of a dungeon creator for the game. The dungeon creator will allow people to make their own dungeons for other people to try out in-game and share with friends. Of course, this is a highly ambitious project, and as such, they've yet to announce it as an official update; in fact, they mention that there's a chance it might not even happen. Still, it sounds like a great idea, right?

In any case, keep checking QJ for the latest FF11 updates and news. We'll be sure to scour the far reaches of Vana'diel for you to get you the freshest stuff!
