We're not certain how many of you already have copies of RealTime Worlds' Crackdown. Nope, we haven't forgotten that the game will not be released until February 20 in the U.S. (23 in Europe) but it seems that a good number of fans are enjoying the game already.
Some Kotaku readers got their copies in retail stores EB Games and Comp USA. This could mean a good thing for fans but we all know that it isn't for retailers. Street dates, if not kept, could cause these particular stores their employees and fines from the game publisher. So to kind of help them, let's just keep these stores to ourselves and purchase the game discreetly.

It's pretty easy to simply highlight it, anyone can do it, so why bother posting it? You think someone is stupider than you? Well, this is QJ, I guess I wouldn't be surprised.
If you buy it on Tuesday at Circuit City you get a Halo faceplate for free. That beats getting it two days early.
Or you could rent it and burn it for a total of about 5 bucks.

this game really sucks. Microsoft just put the halo 3 beta invite in the game so you would buy crackdown. Crackdown isnt worth . Microsoft wants people to buy it because theres a halo3 beta invite it. I also played the demo, it was so stupid. The crossfire is stupid the A.I. is stupid. Its just a gta ripoff. The only game that is worth buying is halo 3 for the 360. Why waste on crackdown while u can use that money and save it for halo3.
quit calling every game that falls in the same genre as GTA a rip-off.
if you insist on saying such idiotic things atleast be consistent, go back and find the most well known game in any genre and call every game afterwards a rip-off.

Come on dude, Halo 3 is $60 and doesn't come out for half a year at least, don't gimme that "save your money" bullsh*t. It'd be pretty easy to afford Crackdown and Halo 3.
Maybe if Halo 3 came out a week or so after Crackdown what you said would make sense, but since it comes out around eight months after just shut it.
first of all games like these get alot of hype. Without the halo beta, this game wouldnt sell for a bag of *****. A week later you will have already beat this game and get bored of it and leave it on your shelf and not play with it anymore. Then a month later the price will drop to 50 dollars. I dont care if u can afford this, u must have the worst taste of video games.

this game sucks ass i bought it yesterday and it really sucks i say its a huge rip off, the graphics are garbage they only brought this game out for the halo 3 beta ***** microsoft you *****in *****s!! LOL
