Bethesda and Microsoft are giving out a new premium theme for Fallout 3 to XBL subscribers starting next month. And it's for free, as long as you have purchased all Fallout 3 Game Add-ons as of September 22.

The five DLCs being referred to, of course, are: Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. If you have all these, then you will receive a token which you will then use to download the theme for free starting on October 1, 2009.

Todd Howard, Fallout 3's game director and executive producer, said, "This is something we've been asked about a lot and we're happy to finally be able to bring it to fans as a small token of our appreciation."

If in case you have not completed the five DLCs as required in order to get the theme for free, you can avail of it by shelling out 240 Microsoft Points.

Unless there has been a drastic price cut that I have missed, I think you mean 2400 points and not 240.

But anyway, that's great, I have already got all the addons. This is much needed as the Bare your Teeth theme for GoW2 All Fronts Collection was supposed to be a premium and was only a standard theme... was pretty disappointed

Too bad most of this theme is going to be covered up with ads and large menu icons. What they need is a dynamic fallout 3 theme for the PS3. Maybe have a shot of the wasteland as the background, with the wind blowing picking up dust. The time of days changes the background. Occasionally a mini nuke goes off. That'd be badass.
